ABOUT RCI

Rosalynn Carter Leadership in Caregiving Award

Since 2001, the Johnson & Johnson / RCI Caregivers Program has impacted the lives of over 75,000 individuals through its funding of community collaborations that support caregivers. This partnership builds on the RCI’s twenty years of advocacy for caregivers and on the credo of Johnson & Johnson to be “responsible to the communities in which we live and work” and “encourage…better health and education.”

Beginning this year, the J&J/RCI Caregivers Program decided to focus on building bridges between researchers and caregivers, with the ultimate goal being to institutionalize those partnerships as structures and processes placed within larger, ongoing systems that have permanence.

To that end, the 2007 Rosalynn Carter Leadership in Caregiving Award recognizes leadership in implementing innovative and creative partnerships between community organizations and caregiving researchers. These partnerships reflect best practices in providing effective caregiver supports to professional, family, and volunteer caregivers. The RCI is proud to announce that the winner of the 2007 Rosalynn Carter Leadership in Caregiving Award:
