Georgia Caregiver of the Year Award Program

To honor their work and to focus public attention on the contributions of caregivers throughout the state, the Rosalynn Carter Institute on Caregiving in cooperation with the Georgia CARE-NETS initiated the Georgia Caregiver of the Year Awards in 2007.

Each year, the Georgia CARE-NETs select their regional winners and submit these individuals as nominees for the state award. The Georgia Caregivers of the Year are recognized by former First Lady Rosalynn Carter at an annual Awards Banquet, held in conjunction with the RCI National Summit each October.
