Each CARE-NET shared recent or on-going projects for their region. CARE-NETs are keeping busy in Georgia. CARE-NETs are:
developing partnerships with other agencies to offer several types of training including RCI’s Caring for You, Caring for Me program.
hosting and planning seminars in their region, covering such topics as Ethics in Caregiving, Care Transitions, Medicare, Faith and Aging, and Disabilities.
setting up booths at health and aging expos all across the state, providing information and interacting with the visitors.
conducting caregiver needs assessments in their region.
The next CARE-NET meeting is scheduled for March 11.
