Dementia Capable Webinars – 2017 Series

Financial Advisor Talking To Senior Couple At Home

Families coping with dementia face unique challenges in their caregiving experience. The Georgia Division of Aging Services and the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving partnered in 2017 to provide these educational webinars to ensure the dementia capability of the agencies serving those families.

The Dementia Capable Webinars are placed into three different categories based on the target audience:

  • Family Caregivers – those caring for someone with dementia, not necessarily a family member
  • Community Partners and Service Providers – those in the community who have contact with anyone caring for someone with dementia
  • Access to Services Staff – those who provide caregivers of someone with dementia with access to services

No matter which category you fall into, even if you fall into none, each webinar will help further educate you on dementia caregiving. Each webinar has a test used to gauge your understanding of the material. There are two different versions of the test: online and pdf. Certificates are not available, please print off your post test scores for proof of your participation.

*These webinars are made possible by funding from the Alzheimer’s Disease Supportive Services Program of the Administration on Community Living.
