This project, called the "Generations" Program, partnered Foundations with Vineland Elementary School and a senior citizen assisted living facility, Vineland Nursing Center. The project involved senior residents, their institutional caregivers, and 4th grade children in an innovative, non-traditional program of caring and sharing. As a result of the J&J/RCI Caregivers Program grant funding, Foundations drafted a curriculum supplement for the Generations program.

In 2000, SCUCS began an In-Home Caregiver Program in Camden County, NJ in partnership with the Statewide Respite Care Program of the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services. NJDOH&SS provided limited funding for the program as an adjunct to its larger program which offers in-home and out of home respite services to the caregivers of elderly and adult disabled residents in each county. the J&J/RCI grant enabled SCUCS to continue the In-Home Caregiver Program, with partner NJ DOH&SS contributing an additional $10,000. The new in-home component allowed a nurse-assessor to visit the home of the family caregiver to assess their needs and assist with obtaining services to improve the quality of life for both the family caregiver and the person being cared for.

Interfaith Health & Support Services of Southern Ocean County is a coalition of 20 area interfaith congregations, plus the local community center and area hospital. In this project, Interfaith developed Volunteer Caregiver Teams of 2 volunteers, allowing one volunteer to remain with the person being cared for, and the other to accompany and support the family caregiver by providing transportation to appointments, shopping, or simply being a companion to them during their hours away from home.
