The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving and Johnson & Johnson formed a partnership in 2001 to develop a signature program in caregiving. This partnership builds on the foundational work in caregiving accomplished by the RCI during the last 23 years and builds on the credo of Johnson & Johnson to be "responsible to the communities in which we live and work" and "encourage better health and education.

Through our unique public/private partnership with Johnson & Johnson, we have been funding non-profit organizations across the country to implement selected evidence-based caregiver programs to better meet the needs of family caregivers in their own communities. Since 2007, these translational sites have been actively sharing their successes and challenges to help identify best practices in effective implementation of evidence-based programs for caregivers.
