At the 20th Anniversary Gala for the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, we will reflect on 20 years of accomplishments. But more importantly, we’ll be looking ahead to the future and honoring emerging leaders in the caregiving field.
The Rosalynn Carter Caregiving Leadership Award is the highest award bestowed in the field of caregiving. This year, the RCI is taking the Award to a new level. True to our commitment to translate evidence-based interventions into practice in community settings, the Leadership Award will be presented to a team of researcher and practitioner.
The winning team will have demonstrated success in putting an evidence-based caregiving intervention into practice in a community-based setting. The team will be awarded $20,000 to continue their work. In addition they’ll receive a distinctive statuette, designed especially for the RCI by renowned sculptor Frank Eliscui, creator of the Heisman Trophy.
The 20th Anniversary Gala will be held Thursday, October 25 in conjunction with the RCI’s National Summit.
