Needs Assessment Survey Will Determine the Demand for Caregiving Education

This fall semester, Georgia Southwestern State University became the first university in the nation to offer an 18-credit “Caregiving Specialist” Certificate Program. In response to the widespread interest in the certificate program, the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving and GSW are examining the need for additional caregiving education programs. The university and RCI are working together to develop additional programs to train leaders in long-term, home and community-based care at the graduate and mid-career levels. Online and face-to-face instruction formats are being considered.

Georgia Southwestern State University is conducting a needs assessment survey to measure interest in a stand-alone certificate program or master's level training in caregiving. We would appreciate your input. To complete this short survey, click here.
